AS Roma to miss Assuncao for next six weeks

AS Roma have sent midfielder Marcos Assuncao for a knee operation and the player is expected to miss the next six weeks of the season.

Assuncao damaged the knee in the last league game before the seasonal break and the arthroscopic scan has revealed extensive strains to the muscles in the joint.
