Spartak Moscow say that Igor Mitreski will not be sold despite a £4 million offer from Arsenal.
Arsenal made their bid for wing back Igor Mitreski last week.
The Macedonian international was part of the Spartak team that defeated Arsenal in a home Champions League tie last November and also has an offer to join Bayern Munich for next season. The 22 year old is discussing a possible move with his agent and is a talented wide player. "We have had a number of inquiries about Mitrevski from several European clubs, including Arsenal, but we have no plans to sell him in the next two or three years," Spartak technical director Alexander Shikunov tells the Russian press today.
Mitreski has two years to run on a three year deal signed last year with the Russian champions after they spent £1 million to sign him from Sileks Kratovo.
