United join Baiocco interest

Manchester United have joined the interest shown by Juventus and other clubs in Perugia midfielder Davide Baiocco.

The United party in Milan for the Champions League final made contact with the former Viterbese player's agent who has also had contact with three other English clubs in the past month.

Perugia intend to reject the £5 million offer made by Juventus last week for Baiocco placing him on the market again. They want about £7 million for the player.
