Juventus and Bayer Leverkusen will try this afternoon for a third time top lay their Champions League tie.

UEFA rejected proposed dates to reschedule the fixture made by both clubs after fog again wrecked last night's kick-off.

The game was originally planned for last week but fog caused it to be abandoned and rescheduled for last night at Juve's Stadio Delle Alpi outside Turin.

Bayer Leverkusen had to find hotel accommodation in Piedmont after UEFA rejected their offer to play the Group D game on December 18th.

Juventus offered January 30th but the game is to go ahead this afternoon with few fans expected to attend.

Leverkusen general manager criticised UEFA's rescheduling:

"This is not a professional decision. Neither club wanted it."
