Santander sign Afek

Hapoel Tel Aviv midfielder Omri Afek has signed a four-year contract with Racing Santander, who are also traking Ivory Coast forward Ibrahima Bakayoko.

Afek has been training with the Spanish first divison side since Friday and joins fellow Israelis goalkeeper Dudu Aouate, defender Illan Bakhar and striker Yossi Benayoun.

Meanwhile Turkish side Galatasaray are negotiating over Racing's striker Javi Guerrero at a price of around ten million euros (10.9m dollars).

If Guerrero leaves Santander, Racing will go after Bakayoko, released by French Champions League side Marseille.
