Bolton's Frandsen confident ahead of relegation battle

Veteran Bolton midfielder Per Frandsen is convinced the club will win their Premier League survival fight.

"I am sure we are going to stay up," he told the club website Monday.

"We have been playing well for some time now and we've just got to make sure it continues."

Bolton pulled two points clear of third-from-bottom West Ham with their last-gasp victory against Spurs last week. Four home games in a seven-match end of season run will determine Bolton's fate, with the April 19 visit of West Ham seen as crucial.

"It's getting tougher with the other teams around us also winning games but it looked as though we had won a cup when we came off against Spurs," said the 33-year-old Frandsen who helped Denmark to 5-2 Euro 2004 win over Romania in Bucharest on Saturday.

"There are seven games to go and the results are going for us. Perhaps the luck is as well now."
