South Korean striker Won Kwang Cho has signed a deal with ambitious French league side Sochaux.
Won, an 18-year-old forward who played in Korea with LG Anyang, has been on trial at Sochaux for several weeks.
Details relating to the transfer fee and length of his contract have not been revealed Saturday.
Sochaux, whose annaul budget pales in comparison with the likes of Monaco, Paris St Germain or Marseille, are holding their own in the French top flight and, sitting in fifth place, are pushing for a place in Europe next season.
Won is initially expected to play with Sochaux's semi-professional team before being given a chance to break into the north-eastern club's first team.
The South Korean is likely to play alongside Egyptian forward Ahmed Farag. Farag signed in the autumn and scored a brace of goals on his first official outing for the club's under-18 side last weekend.
