The Euro 2004 favourites the Czech Republic received a boost ahead of Thursday's semi-final with surprise packages Greece when centre-back Rene Bolf resumed training.
The 30-year-old, who has just moved to Auxerre in France, had been doubtful for the match after limping off injured during the 3-0 quarter-final victory over Denmark.
However, the right back Martin Jiranek will miss the match with a groin injury which the 25-year-old Reggina player also sustained during the quarter-final.
Miroslav Beranek the Czech's assistant coach said Jiranek could be fit for the final if the Czechs reach it.
"He had tests in a hospital in Lisbon and it is not as bad as first feared," said Beranek.
"Our team does not depend on this player, he was successfully replaced by Zdenek Grygera in the last match and he can be again."
