Real Madrid appear to have landed hot young defender Sergio Ramos after completing talks with fellow Spanish league side FC Sevilla, according to reports in the Spanish press.

According to Cadena Ser radio station Real have agreed to pay Sevilla a total amount of 27 million euros for the teenage defender's services, a fee which includes funding the get-out clause in his contract.

Spain international Ramos, 19, and Real have reportedly agreed terms although the transfer has not been officially announced because FC Sevilla are still on the lookout for a replacement central defender ahead of Wednesday's midnight deadline.

Sevilla have already refused an offer from Real of defender Alvaro Mejia, according to Cadena Ser.

Ramos's arrival will be the club's fifth signing in the close season following the arrival of Uruguayans Pablo Garcia (Osasuna) and Carlos Diogo (River Plate/ARG), and Brazilian duo Julio Baptista (FC Sevilla) and Robinho (Santos/BRA).
