Craig Bellamy scored his first goal for Celtic as Martin O'Neill's men cruised into the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup with a 5-0 hammering of hopelessly outclassed Clyde.
Bellamy, currently on loan in Glasgow after being discarded by Newcastle, rounded off the romp after a Stanislav Varga double, Alan Thompson penalty and Stilian Petrov goal had underlined the gulf between the Scottish Premier League champions and the first division outfit.
Clyde could feel aggrieved however after being denied a perfectly good early goal when referee Craig Thomson harshly disallowed Craig Bryson's strike because he had blown for a Petrov foul.
Celtic, who are bidding to repeat last season's league and cup double, will go into Monday's draw along with Hearts, Hibs and Dundee United, who produced the performance of the day to sweep past Aberdeen 4-1 at Tannadice.
Striker James Grady grabbed a double and defender Alan Archibald and Scotland forward Stevie Crawford were also on the mark for the Tangerines.
Richie Byrne scored Aberdeen's only goal.
Hearts survived a second-half comeback by Livingston to scrape through to the last four of the competition for the first time in seven years by a 2-1 margin.
They had been two up inside 10 minutes through goals by Lee Miller and Jamie McAllister and at the interval looked to be in a commanding position.
But after making three half-time substitutions, Richard Gough's men stormed back, scoring through midfielder Craig Easton on the hour to set up a nervous ending for Hearts.
Hibs came through on Saturday with a 2-0 win over St Mirren, courtesy of goals from Scott Brown, making his first start since September, and Scotland international Garry O'Connor.
Brown had not played since injuring his ankle in a match against Celtic early in the season but there was no sign of rustiness as he fired home from just inside the box to give Hibs the lead on the stroke of half-time.
St Mirren battled hard after the break but the first division side were caught on the break in the 73rd minute as O'Connor put the outcome beyond doubt.
