English Premiership survival battlers Norwich have signed Graham Stuart from Charlton until the end of the season.

The 34-year-old midfielder had discussions over the weekend, and completed his free transfer on monday.

Stuart scored 23 goals in 164 league and cup appearances for the Addicks, but found his first-team chances limited during the current campaign, and was not involved in Saturday's FA Cup win over Yeovil.

The former Everton and Chelsea player is now looking forward to continuing his career at Norwich.

"It was a very easy decision to make," he told Norwich's website,.

"The attraction for me was to continue to play Premiership football. That was high on the agenda and I'm looking forward to working as hard as I can with the rest of the lads to help keep Premiership status."

Norwich have already splashed out two million pounds on Crewe Alexandra striker Dean Ashton.
