Villa snap up Djemba-Djemba

Aston Villa have agreed an undisclosed fee with Manchester United for their 23-year-old Cameroon midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba.

The 3.5 million pound buy from french side Nantes was lauded as the future replacement for skipper Roy Keane when he arrived at Old Trafford 18 months ago but made only 39 appearances.

He was due to sign for Villa after undegoing a medical on Monday, Villa said on their website.
