Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has ruled out a possible move to Manchester United who were reported to be ready to make a big-money offer.

Buffon's agent Silvano Martina told skysports.com the only club the keeper would join if he left Juventus would be Real Madrid.

"It's true Juventus have a habit of selling their top players when a proper offer comes in," Martina said. "But I don't think they plan to sell Buffon, at least not for now.

"Anyway, in these situations a crucial role is played by the will of the player and Gigi is fully committed to Juventus, as the Bianconeri are one of the best three clubs in the world."

And Martina said Real Madrid were the only that could tempt Buffon.

"Should Buffon one day decide to quit Juventus, that would be only for Real Madrid," Martina explained. "That's why I don't think reports about Manchester United will come to anything real."
