Brazil will be outstanding favorites to defend the World Cup in Germany next summer, French legend Michel Platini has said.

"That's only natural because Brazil has five or six phenomenal players in attack and they have good players on defense as well," he told Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday.

Next to Brazil, Platini said that it would depend which out of France, Italy, Germany, Spain (if they qualify), Argentina, England and the Netherlands manage to produce their best form at the right moment.
