Relegated Premiership side Birmingham strengthened their defence by buying experienced Tunisian international defender Radhi Jaidi from Bolton Wanderers.
The 30-year-old could cost Birmingham as much as 2million pounds if they regain their place in the Premiership, though the transfer is dependent on Jaidi being granted a work permit.
Jaidi, who links up with former Bolton team-mate and fellow central defender Bruno N'Gotty, was an ever present for Tunisia at the World Cup finals playing in all three of their first round matches and scored in the 2-2 draw with Saudi Arabia.
The no nonsense centreback has been at Bolton for two years and scored eight times in 51 matches for the Premiership club.
