Everton midfielder Tim Cahill, who also missed the Greece match with a knee injury, said he expected to resume training with the rest of squad this week.
"The knee's okay, I suppose I'm joining proper training this week and going to wait and see how I get on. But everything is very positive and I'm just looking forward to being part of the squad," Cahill said.
Liverpool forward Harry Kewell, who stayed behind in England to treat a groin injury, joined his team-mates at the training camp this weekend. He said he was confident of being fit for Australia's opening World Cup group match against Japan in Kaiserslautern on June 12.
