French international forward Nicolas Anelka is out of Bolton's League Cup match against Manchester City after suffering a reccurence of a thigh injury.
French international forward Nicolas Anelka is out of Bolton's League Cup match against Manchester City on Wednesday, after suffering a reccurence of a thigh injury.
Anelka missed a Euro 2008 qualifier against Lithuania on October 17 and a league match three days later against Arsenal with the same problem.
Having made his comeback in the UEFA Cup last week, he was forced off in the draw against Aston Villa at the weekend.
However, Bolton are hopeful the former Arsenal, Liverpool and Real Madrid striker will be back for Sunday's clash against West Ham.
