Feyenoord took the only real chance they created against Borussia Dortmund in Germany to intensify the race for the last remaining qualifying place from Group C.

The Dutch champions face Rosenborg at home next week and the Norwegians qualified last night with some ease from the section while Dortmund are away at Boavista and lead the Dutch side by one point.

The Bundesliga side look more likely to qualify but Feyenoord substitute Peter Van Vossen scored a 72nd minute equaliser with a great shot from long range into the top of the net.

Ghanaian striker Otto Addo had given Dortmund the lead with a header after an Evanilson cross in the minute before half time and the German side dominated the game but could not finish several half chances.
