Maribor 1 Kyiv Dynamo 2

An 84th minute penalty from Serhii Rebrov gave Kyiv Dynamo a valuable win and means they can now qualify for the last sixteen if they beat SS Lazio at home next week.

Rebrov proved the difference between the sides when he put Kyiv ahead in the 37th minute with a neat finish only to see the home side's defence allow space to Stipe Balajic who reached a cross in front of goal to shoot into the net.

A scrappy second half saw Kyiv need the intervention of Spanish referee Juan Fernandez near the end to give them some hope of qualifying but this win at least ensured UEFA Cup football next month for the Ukrainians.
