FC Porto hit their second Champions League win inside a week to stay top of Group E.

The Portuguese side were well on top throughout this game against an Olympiakos side only just starting their season after the recent earthquake in Greece.

The home team had an excellent start in only the 6th minute when Brazilian Juanario Esquerdinha hit a low drive into the net from the edge of the penalty area.

Esquerdinha provided the goal that sealed the win in the 47th minute when he crossed for Jardel to knock the ball in between the legs of Olympiakos goalkeeper Eleftheropoulos who turned in an excellent display on the night.
