Slovenia beat the Czech Republic 1-0 in Ostrava to continue a miserable summer for the Czech team.

They lost all three matches at Euro 2000 where Slovenia made a much better impression.

Pavlin was one of their best performers in June and he scored on the hour mark when he was put clear by Ceh to curl his foot around the ball to send it into the far corner and beyond Jaromir Blazek in the home goal.

Only 4,8000 fans saw the game and they will have seen one of the worst showings by the Czech team in recent years and they could not create a single decent chance.
