Galatasary and Sturm Graz ended this draw as winners with both teams going through to Friday's Champions League draw to compete in the second stage.

The Austrian side finally produced a cohesive away performance after opening their series of games with a 5-0 defeat at Rangers and shipping four goals to AS Monaco.

Graz did it when it mattered to edge out Rangers and the teams ended up at peace in their own halves once news of Monaco's second equaliser at Ibrox Park reached the pitch.

Substitute striker Sergei Yuran headed a 63rd minute equaliser but Jardel reached an Ergun free kick in the 75th minute to put the home team in front but Hakan Unsal deflected a Yuran drive into the net to set up detante at the end.
