Champions League - PSV Eindhoven 2 Anderlecht 3

Anderlecht scored a late win at Eindhoven to seal their progress into the last sixteen of the Champions League.

The Belgian champions bucked the Champions League trend this season by registering an away win and when it really mattered as well.

Substitute Souleymane Youla scored from close range after PSV were reduced to ten men when Kevin Hofland was booked for the second time after a foul in the 89th minute.

An excellent performance by Anderlecht started with a ninth minute header by Bertrand Crasson and Jan Koller converted a low cross in the 37th minute.

Crowd trouble from the home fans summer up their disgust at the abject showing from PSV and the Dutch side started to revive.

Adil Ramzi scored in first half injury time and scored again with a low drive in the 47th minute. His finishing ability deserted him though and he missed two clear chances from in front of goal but a draw was not good enough with Manchester United beating Kyiv. PSV had to settle for the UEFA Cup in the end.
