Shakhtar Donetsk recorded their first Champions League win by beating Sparta Prague 2-1 after coming from behind.
Hennady Zubov scored the winning goal with a penalty in the 87th minute after Sparta defender Zdenek Grygera handled the ball in the box and was sent off.
The Czech champions took the lead in the 16th minute when Jiri Jarosik headed in a corner kick with a powerful jump over the defence.
Sparta goalkeeper Tomas Postulka saved a penalty two minutes later from Andriy Vorobei after Vladimir Labant hauled down Vorobei.
Shakhtar scored in the 35th minute for the equaliser with Lithuanian international Dainius Gleveskas heading in a looping cross.
Serhiy Atelkin hit the post with a drive before half time as the Ukrainian team pressed forward.
