First Published: Sep 26, 2000

Rosenborg humiliated Helsingborg in Trondheim helped by a Frode Johnsen hat trick.

Johnsen scored from a header in the 29th minute to add to a 20th minute close range finish and scored the last goal in the 79th minute with a low drive.

Sweden's Helsingborg were thrashed but got a 91st minute goal from close range by Rabe Prica but by then Roar Strand and Stig Johansen had added to the damage wrought by the team who are set to clinch their ninth Norwegian championship in a row soon.

Johansen hit a 64th minute own goal when he deflected a shot into the net and Strand had hit two drives inside two minutes to claim his pair early on the second half.
