OM coach Jose Anigo has been fired and becomes the third coach to be dismissed since Bernard Tapie returned to power at the French club in April.
Anigo took charge a month ago on the eve of the French season after Tomislav Ivic quit. OM have only taken two points from their first four matches and Tapie asked for the coach to quit yesterday after a row at a training session.
OM have had offers from Mario Jardel and Youri Djorkaeff accepted by the players but are still in talks with their clubs to sign the new strikers.
Josip Scoblar and Marc Levy from the coaching staff will be on the bench as caretaker coaches for Saturday's game against Bastia.
