First Published: Feb 15, 2001

Kaiserslautern secured the draw they wanted in Prague after a good performance from their defence.

Slavia did score in the 28th minute but Ludek Zelenka was ruled offside during the best spell from the home side.

Lautern goalkeeper Georg Koch defied Slavia with good saves from Tomas Dosek and Zelenka in the first half with Marian Hristov seeing a header cleared from the goal line in the second half in the 65th minute by Adam Petrous.

Dosek hit the crossbar with a long range header and Mario Basler responded with a low drive against the bar in the 77th minute.
