Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven scored two away goals to help them through to the last eight of the UEFA Cup but lost this second leg tie 3-2 at Parma AC.
The away goals rule took PSV into the next round after a 4-4 draw on aggregate but Parma came back to win the match from 2-0 down.
Dennis Rommedahl helped PSV off to a god start when he beat the offside trap to round goalkeeping star Gianluigi Buffon and score in the 32nd minute and then in the 45th minute of the match Buffon spilled a free kick from Johannes De Jong and Mateja Kezman reacted first to bury the chance in front of Real Madrid and Juventus scouts who were watching the young Yugoslav striker.
Kezman has now scored 27 goals this season and 18 times in PSV's last 13 matches and a big bid is brewing for the former Partizan Belgrade star.
Midfielder Johan Vogel hit the post with a drive in first half injury time but this escape signalled the start of a Parma revival.
Yugoslav striker Savo Milosevic had his shirt pulled in the penalty area by Kevin Hofland in the 63rd minute and hit the resulting penalty into the net.
Five minutes later, Milosevic prevailed again with a powerful header which met a Sergio Conceicao cross from the left.
Near the end of the game Colombian teenager and substitute Johnnier Montano fired in a spectacular and well-timed volley from the edge of the box to win the match.
This was PSV's first defeat of the year and their first loss since November 8th.
