A great goal from Czech international Vratislav Lokvenc won this tie and sent Kaiserslautern iinto the last eight of the UEFA Cup.

Lokvenc smashed an angled volley into the net to end Slavia Prague's resistance in the 59th minute after being put in with a half chance by an Andreas Buck header.

The Bundesliga club had the better of this game but were nervous finishers but Slavia almost took the lead first when Ludek Zelenka hit a header aganst the crossbar.
