Luis Enrique scored three goals as FC Barcelona demolished AEK Athens 5-0 to reach the last eight of the UEFA Cup.
The midfielder scored the only goal of the first leg and then claimed the first tonight at the Camp Nou in the 22nd minute when he swept in a low cross from Pep Guardiola.
AEK were reduced to ten men when defender Michalis Kapsis was sent off after challenging Patrick Kluivert but the Dutch striker looked to have dived to get the Greek player sent off.
There was no way back for AEK after that.
Just two minutes later Luis Enrique finished off a fine run with a low shot and Rivaldo produced a neat finish in the 57th minute for the third goal. Enrique wrapped up his hat trick on the hour mark when he made space for a powerful drive with substitute Gerard winning a penalty in the 87th minute which Rivaldo drove home.
