Paolo Wanchope scored the winner as Costa Rica beat Honduras for the second time this month.

Both sides are late replacements drafted in to replace Argentine and Canada who quit the Copa as they had only three days to prepare for the event after it was rescheduled after being postponed last week.

Costa Rica had beaten Honduras 3-2 in a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier on July 1st but this was a much less eventful game which the Manchester City forward won with a low shot.
