The game also saw the son of Korea's famous Cha Bum-Keun - the coach of the 1998 World Cup finals side - score his first goal for the national team his father used to star for.

Cha Du-Ri scored the first goal and set up Choi Tae-Uk for the second goal.

Lee Young-Pyo hit the post in the seventh minute as the home team signalled their domination only to nearly concede as Rolando Fonseca saw a 10th minute header kicked away from the goal mouth.

Former Perugia player Ahn Jung-Hwan crossed from the right for Cha to volley off the goal post and in on 26 minutes.

The game was not settled until the 84th minute when Cha broke down the right for Choi to round the goalkeeper and slot in.
