Morocco now lead Group B in the African Nations Cup after a 2-1 win over Burkina Faso.
Two goals from Aberdeen forward Hicham Zerouali leave Morocco needing only a draw to reach the quarter finals on Wednesday when they face South Africa.
Zerouali scored the first goal in the 23rd minute when a free kick downfield was allowed into the Burkina Faso defence.
Saifou Mady and Mamadou Tall tried to clear the danger and two Morocco forwards scuffed shots before Zerouali stuck a drive wide of goalkeeper Mohamed Kabore. It was the first goal in five matches in the section.
Zerouali hit the post at the start of the second half but Burkina Faso equalised in the 58th minute when a free kick was deflected into the path of Dagano to head high into the net.
Dagano hit the crossbar with a header shortly after but Morocco scored the winner in the 85th minute when a corner was allowed to reach the front of goal and Zerouali headed in with a looping finish.
