Charlton sign Iranian star Bagheri

Iranian international Karim Bagheri has signed for Premiership side Charlton.

The newly promoted London club have a four year deal with the 26 year old after paying his club Piroozi £400,000 but his fee could rise to £1.1 million depending on appearances.

Charlton start back in the Premiership on Saturday against Manchester City and Karim has played more than 70 international matches making him the most experienced international at Charlton.

Karim is the to be the first Iranian player to appear in the Premiership and can play across defence and midfield.
