Saudi Arabian striker Sami Al Jaber has signed on loan for English First Division side Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 27 year old is set to become the first Saudi international to play for a European club in the top two divisions and will spend an initial five month loan spell at the West Midlands club.
Wolves want Jaber on a four year contract but the initial loan spell will be used to arrange work permit papers for the 1998 World Cup player.
The deal still needs to be ratified by the Saudi Football Federation which partially employs Jaber as an international player. Wolves have agreed the transfer with Riyadh club Al Hilal.
