Juventus hit problems with Pacheco move

FC Barcelona are in talks with Penarol to sign striker Antonio Pacheco who has already signed a pre contract agreement to join Juventus.

Barca want to step in and sign Pacheco after Juve tried to arrange a loan deal with Grasshoppers for six months.

Juve are trying to cut their squad back with Juan Esnaider heading back to Spain and Darko Kovacevic up for sale. They want Pacheco to start with them next season but the Zurich club have so far refused a short six month loan for the Uruguayan international letting Barca star talks with the Montevideo club.

Penarol's agent is in Turin to discuss the move which is still expected to see Pacheco join Juventus.
