Arsenal have made contact with Sao Paolo goalkeeper Rogerio Ceni who is currently the first choice Brazilian goalkeeper.
A new goalkeeper has been a priority for Arsenal for over two years as veteran David Seaman reaches 38 years of age but Seaman is still playing for the England team and is expected to have some role at Arsenal next season.
The goalkeeper's agent has been in talks with Arsenal directors about a summer move for the Sao Paolo player and the Brazilian club want around £5.5 million him.
