Greek international Thodoris Zagorakis has been cleared of a drugs offence.
The AEK Athens midfielder captained Greece last month in a World Cup defeat against Germany but his career was threatened three weeks ago when it was announced that he had failed a dope test after a league match against Kalamata.
His second sample also tested positive on April 10th with high levels of the male hormone testosterone present.
But a sports court deciding on the player's guilt today cleared Zagorakis of using banned steroids and concluded that the high hormone levels were due to natural causes.
Zagorakis had been facing a two year ban if found guilty under FIFA drug regulations but the former Leicester City player can now resume his career.
