Fulham spend £13 million to sign Marlet

Fulham are to complete the signing of Olympique Lyon striker Steve Marlet for £13 million by tomorrow.

The striker is on international duty with the World Cup winners and has seen Lyon agree a transfer fee with the London club after they rejected a £10.5 million bid for the player last week.

Marlet has broken from training to sign for Fulham as he prepares to leave for Chile to play a Santiago friendly. He is due to complete medical checks in London tonight and sign a four year contract.
