Tinga drops out of Brazil World Cup squad

Brazil midfielder Tinga has dropped out of the World Cup squad to play Argentina in Buenos Aires next week.

The Gremio player damaged thigh muscles in a training session on Wednesday and missed the game which Brazil need to at least draw to stay in contention for the one of the three remaining qualifying places available for the finals next summer. Argentina ensured their qualification with a win in Ecuador earlier this month.
