Germany and Bayern Munich star Oliver Kahn has signed a contract extension with the Bavarian club which could see him move into management at the end of his career.
The goalkeeper now has a deal with Bayern which runs to June 2006 when Germany hosts the World Cup finals.
Kahn had been in talks with Bayern commercial manager Uli Hoeness for the past month over a new deal with his current contract due to expire in June 2003. He now has options to coach at Bayern when his playing career ends.
The 32 year old has helped Bayern to four championships and a European Cup win and win Euro 96 with the national team.
