First Published: Dec 29, 2001

Metz have secured Cameroon forward Joseph-Desire Job on loan until the end of the season.

The move to France could then be made permanent from Middlesbrough.

'Boro have released Job after he became unhappy at his lack of first team chances. New 'Boro coach Steve McClaren has seen 'Boro fail to score in six games but has not produced any regular starts for Job who remains in Cameroon's plans for the 2002 World Cup finals. Job was signed in summer 2000 by then 'Boro coach Bryan Robson for $5 million.
