Spain call up top scorer Javi Moreno
First Published: Feb 23, 2001Spanish Liga top scorer Javi Moreno is in the national team squad to face England in a friendly at Villa Park next week.
The game - new England coach Sven Goran Eriksson's first in charge - shpuld give Premiership scouts the chance to view Moreno in partnership with Raul at some stage in the match.
Moreno has already been watched this season by Aston Villa and West Ham after scoring 16 goals so far.
Another new cap is Villarreal defender Unai Bergara while veteran Pep Guardiola returns to the squad after injury.
