Italy pick familiar favourites to face Argentina
First Published: Feb 23, 2001Italy coach Giovanni Trapattoni has named a squad to play Argentina in a friendly next week.
AS Roma captain Francesco Totti is included in the selection but he has been ill recently although Roma are optimistic that Totti will play against Vicenza on Sunday.

Goalkeepers - Gianluigi Buffon (Parma AC) and Francesco Toldo (Fiorentina).
Defenders - Velerio Bertotto (Udinese), Fabio Cannavaro (Parma AC), Paolo Maldini (AC Milan), Alessandro Nesta (SS Lazio), Alessandro Pierini (Fiorentina), Coco (AC Milan) and Giuseppe Pancaro (Juventus).
Midfielders - Luigi Di Biagio (Internazionale), Angelo Di Livio (Fiorentina), Stefano Fiore (Udinese), Alessio Tacchinardi (Juventus), Damiano Tommasi (AS Roma), Christian Zenoni and Damiano Zenoni (both Atalanta).
Strikers - Marco Delvecchio (AS Roma), Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus), Francesco Totti (AS Roma), Christian Vieri (Internazionale) and Filippo Inzaghi (Juventus).
