Hertha Berlin are in talks with Hansa Rostock to buy striker Victor Agali.
The 22 year old Nigerian saw Hertha bid £6 million to sign him and is keen to move to capital city club. He is on duty with Nigeria this week but wants talks with Hansa when he returns.
Hansa have not yet agreed to the sale but the size of the cash available could tempt them to sell.
Agali joined Hansa in 1998 from SC Toulon and was part of the Olympic squad last year scoring three goals and he is with the World Cup squad this week where he is in contention to face Sudan. The player has a contract until 2003 with Hansa. He moved to Olympique Marseille from Lagos team Nitel in 1996 when the club were in the French second division.
