Rehmer to join Juventus

Juventus are set to sign long term transfer target Marko Rehmer from Hertha Berlin for £5.5 million.

Arsenal were also interested in the German international midfielder but the Italian club have been chasing Rehmer for the past four months and now think they are close to a deal which will see them offer the 26 year old a four year contract from June.

Hertha believe Rehmer has already reached an initial agreement with the Turin club and although they wanted to keep Rehmer there was a clause in his contract which meant he would be sold for £5.5 million if a club offered that sum and he agreed to the move
