Jardel returns to FC Porto

Brazilian striker Jardel is to going back to FC Porto.

Porto president Jorge Pinto Da Costa has confirmed a three year contract is to be signed this week after the Galatasary star agreed a pre contract last night.

Jardel scored 23 goals for Gala last season after a £13 million move from his Oporto club where he was top scorer in the Portuguese league from 1997 to 2000 and winner of the European Golden Boot in 1999.

Jardel was set to move to OM but talks fell through a week ago and there has been interest in the player from Juventus but he will finalise his move back to Porto later this week after the player and his Turkish club agreed to the sale of the 27 year old forward.
