Fiorentina have offered two defenders to Glasgow Celtic to try And ease their financial problems.
Massimo Torricelli and Tomas Repka are available for £3 million and Celtic are considering the offer.
Left back Torricelli is a former Juventus star and Italian international while Repka continues to feature regularly for the Czech Republic's national team.
Celtic face Ajax for a place in the Champions League next month and are considering an offer for Coventry City's Welsh John Harston to strengthen their squad.
Fiorentina president Vittorio Cecchi Gori is expected to resign tomorrow after the club were declared bankrupt with debts of £45 million last month. This debt effectively put all the Florence club's players up for sale and now Celtic are considering the two hard-working defenders.
