Inamoto to sign for Arsenal

Arsenal have beaten off Atletico Madrid and Perugia to sign Gamba Osaka midfielder Junichi Inamoto from Gamba Osaka.

The deal is to be completed next week with the 21 year old who has won 20 caps so far for Japan signing a five year contract with the London club.

The Osaka club end their first stage involvement in the J-League next month by which time the Arsenal squad will be back in training for next season.
