Recber wanted by Milan

New AC Milan coach Fatih Terim wants Rustu Recber from Turkish champions Fenerbahce to be his goalkeeper next season.

Milan are prepared to pay £8 million for the Turkish international who helped his Istanbul club beat city rivals Galatasary to the title on Saturday by three points.

Terim helped Recber at the start of his career by bringing him into the Turkish under-21 team when he was relatively unknown at second division Anatlayaspor, his home town. He helped Fenerbahce to win the 1996 championship and is technically good on crosses.
